Information about the Support Fund
We want all kids to be able to participate in our scout activities! That's why we offer the The Scouts Support Fund, which provides financial or material assistance to scouts between the ages of 8 and 25. The Scouts Support Fund gives them the opportunity to take part in scouting on equal terms with their friends. On this website, you'll find more information and instructions on how to apply.
Donations from the Support Fund help scouts in need of financial or material support so they can join activities arranged by their local scout group on equal terms with their friends. For example, the contribution can cover participation fees, membership fees, travel costs, equipment, or other similar expences. The purpose of the Support Fund is to give more children and young people the opportunity to join activities they otherwise would not have been able to take part in.

Support can be given to:
Individual members
Relatives or other representatives of an individual member (e.g. Scout leader, trustee or similiar)
Limitations
You cannot receive support from the Scouts Support fund if don´t have a connection to the Scouts or to scouting activities.
You cannot receive support for international trips or camps. Support for centrally arranged activities (such as Blå hajken or Jamborees) may be granted depending on the Support Fund's budget at the time of your application.
A member can receive a maximum of 5000 SEK per year.
Your application
You can apply to the Scouts Support Fund at any time during the year.
In your application, explain why you are applying and how you plan to use the contribution. You apply by filling in one of the digital forms above.
All applications are handled confidentally by Scouterna. No one in your local scout group needs to know that you have applied.
Note: the more detailed your application is, the easier it will be for us to process it. You will receive a notification after approximately four weeks.
